Peace Craft Residency
About 30 people from 18- 60 age group met at the beautiful aaro aakash ( as always) and talked about what we do, how we connect to Peace and what is our expectation. There was a LOT of sharing and whatever time plan we had, proved to be insufficient.Over 3 days, we discussed several aspects of peace – from peace within to peace around. Even before that we discussed a lot about what disrupts peace.
We tried to frame some future action points, like the educators who decided to create a peace curriculum or the performers who wanted to perform plays.
In between we bonded with new friends( both humans and non humans) , we argued, went for moonlight and early morning walks, had long hours of rest, drank a lot of tea, chatted for hours on dinner table, and the late evenings were spent singing and dancing for hours! ( pity I could not get any music videos till now apart from the dance video posted here) .
Sadly, there were no participants from Santiniketan, and the participants were mostly from development sector only.
Have we come back with some concrete answers? Perhaps No.
Have we come back with questions? Plenty.
